“Imperfect Poetry” – A new call for entry for a printed zine. Selected images will also be included in an online exhibition on Float’s website. This project is supported and partially funded by Mixam.

We invite photographers from all walks of life to join us in celebrating the beauty found within imperfections. In a world that often strives for perfection, we recognize the unique allure of embracing flaws in our photography and subjects.

Our upcoming photography zine aims to showcase the unconventional, the imperfect, and the extraordinary poetic beauty that arises from these unexpected corners of existence. We believe that imperfections hold a certain charm and authenticity that deserve to be celebrated and cherished.

Whether it's capturing the weathered lines of an aged face, the asymmetrical shapes of urban decay, or the quirky details of everyday life, we encourage you to explore the beauty in the unconventional.

This project will culminate in a printed zine, supported by Mixam, a leading online printing platform renowned for its customizable print products. Together, we'll bring your captivating images to life in this zine.

All types of photography are accepted and welcomed.

SPECIFICATIONS FOR WORK

All submitted files must be named with photographers name and sequence number e.g. FirstName_LastName_01.jpg

Files must be 1200px on the longest side, jpeg digital files. Please do not compress your images and do not send via Wetransfer.

Selected artists will get a free copy of the publication, we only ask that you pay for shipping. Any additional copies left will be sold on our website and/or at book fairs.
