Stalking | There is a sense in which all photography is essentially voyeuristic. In this series, I embrace the concept rather than shy away from it.

All the images were shot in New York City, whether in open plazas, a parking garage entrance, the "aerie" of an abandoned phone kiosk, or simply by following people. Are they slightly creepy? Perhaps, but hopefully mysterious and emotive as well. Besides, I've always been drawn to art that is a little uncomfortable -- that makes my skin crawl a bit. www.mattdrobertsphotography.com
