Places of Passage (Isolation Diary) | This ongoing series is a personal record of real and imagined journeys undertaken since the COVID-19 outbreak in Winter/Spring 2020. It is composed of manipulated images from my photographic archive and pictures shot during a time of solitude and self-isolation spent between Norway, Sweden and Italy.

Images from my past photographic archive served as a starting point for imaginative journeys through my memories in a time of lock-down, becoming windows to distant places and landscapes. These photographs are combined with pictures of the surroundings I encountered during various periods of quarantine spent in different countries. Places of Passage examines opposed subjects such as stillness and movement, the inside and outside, and the domestic space as opposed to the wild and open environment.
