Good Impactful Photography People constantly ask us what makes a "good" photo. While we've also asked this question since first falling for photography, it's time for a rethink.
"Good" is not only subjective, it's a little boring and kind of meaningless. Is it good because it's got pretty colors? Is it loud? Is it trendy? Did it take technical skill to produce? Does it offer some pretense of (impossible) truth? Was it shot with a fancy camera? How can we be more specific or ask more thoughtful questions about why a photograph works...or doesn't?
Let's say IMPACTFUL.
Show us impact. Show us blink and twitch. Show us earth-shaking. Show us something that will make us pause in all the noise.
We'll accept any photo-based media. While we prefer no AI, we're open to convincing.

SPECIFICATIONS FOR WORK
All submitted files must be named with photographer's name and sequence number e.g. FirstName_LastName_01.jpg
Files must be 1200px on the longest side, jpeg digital files.
Selected artists will get a free copy of the publication, We only ask that you pay for shipping [please see FAQ page HERE for approx. price] . Any additional copies will be sold on our website and/or at book fairs.
Photographers retain copyright and ownership, as always.
